I know it, You know it too…

Only the person facing it knows what he/she is going through.

Life has a funny (not) habit of endowing some of the worse situations on one set of people and some of the best joys on another handful. When you finally come across someone who is undergoing the same mental explosion as you, you tend to relate.

You know how it feels,
To have given something (or someone) your best and yet be disappointed to realize if things din’t work out.
To always be on the receiving end in these matters.
To hide so much underneath your skin and portray yourself as a cheerful person on the outside.
To unleash the pain inside and yet be trapped within.

When you see someone going through the same trauma, you build a strange but beautiful connection.
What irony, you both find solace in each other, to escape from something that is haunting you both.

Perhaps, that’s life’s way of saying- “You don’t have everything, but atleast you found one more person who doesn’t have everything either. Now, you have each other. Period”

  1. “To hide so much underneath your skin and portray yourself as a cheerful person on the outside.” it’s so difficult and frustrating at the same time to keep doing it always and with no one caring a damn about it 😦

“To unleash the pain inside and yet be trapped within.” soooo true!! followup to the above …. happens so many times!! and sadly still appearing like a sane person to onlookers with no one having a whiff of the inner turmoil:( ….

    beautifully written!
