It’s A Matter Of Time

From the bloom of flowers in spring,
And the colours that they bring,
To winter’s gloomy days,
Craving for some rays,

It’s a matter of time.

From amorous kith and kin,
And love that skipped a sin,
To friendships now which broke,
And faded in the smoke,

It’s a matter of time.

From the prince of untamed youth,
Decked up in naivetes uncouth,
To the times that turn him wise,
Teaching lessons in disguise,

It’s a matter of time.

From the innocence on the face,
To the maiden exuding grace,
To her experiences so sore,
That push her more and more,

It’s a matter of time.

For all that sways on the wings of time,
Is aware of frequent changes, dear.
It’s a matter of time, and time that matters-
And this is the only constant here.
